Background behind the Band |

The band formed in mid 2005 as three bands merge to form the new direction, Second Sense.
The Second Sense are one of the leading cover bands for the Waikato, Bay of Plenty districts. If you need live music with a great range of covers, we got it. To hire the band please use the "contact us" page or catch us live at a venue close to you. Reid was an original member of the long standing Waikato covers band "Boneyard". Shane dissolved his group "The Gotham Set" and joined. Jed had only recently arrived here in Aotearoa, he was ready in rehearsal with groups and his accolades are too long for this page, check out his player profile in the Bio area. Trevor has been in numerous New Zealand bands of the highest caliber, Ardijah, Kick, Circus Animals, and Switch. |

 We have been going on and on in the van about getting some live video footage of the band at a gig (Shane did offer some homemade movies of himself but we decline). SSOOO if someone has video or someone is willing to run Shane's movie camera (gloves will be provided) let us know and MAKE US FAMOUS!

"Private Gigs or Not Dudes" |

We have been thing long and hard about our "No Private Function" policy and have been convinced we should review each offer of private work on its own merit. We are not saying we will play ALL private gigs offered up, but will talk to the people involved and make a informed choice. So what we're saying is if you would like to book the band for your gig, try your luck  |
